HOW TO PLAY TEXAS HOLD'EM POKER

You will quickly learn to play poker. Just combine the cards in your hand with those on the table. Bet on combinations with which you can win, or wait for the next round and new cards.

The goal is to win the pot (with the strongest hand or as the last active player). The strongest hand is the best combination of cards at the end of the round (check the hand rankings). When you're the last remaining active player, you'll win the pot regardless of the strength of your hand.

The pot increases in 4 rounds:

  1. After dealing the initial cards

  2. After opening the flop

  3. After the turn

  4. After the river

Beginning of the Round

First, the dealer is determined. The small blind is the first player to the left of the dealer, and the big blind is the second. The dealer deals 2 cards to the players, based on which they decide whether they want to play. The player to the left of the big blind is first to act.

Player Moves

CHECK - continues to play without betting (only if other players before him haven't raised);

CALL - pays the raised bet value;

RAISE - bets chips increasing the bet value;

FOLD - withdraws from the game in the current round without showing cards.

Each round ends with equalizing bets.

Flop

After the bets are placed, the dealer opens the flop. From now on, the small blind is always the first to act.

Turn

In the next round, the dealer reveals the turn, and the players are on the move.

River

The last round of the game is the opening of the river, where active players form the final hand. The round ends with the laying down of cards. The strongest hand wins the pot.

Poker is easily learned and played. However, if you want to be an expert, you need a lot of experience. Read tips and improve your knowledge!
